Our desire is to provide individuals in Northeast Indiana with the eating disorder treatment we so desperately needed during our own battles. Farrington Specialty Centers' therapists and dietitians are committed to walking with individuals and their loved ones every step of recovery. Our goal is to break the cycle of eating disorder behavior and other maladaptive patterns in the individuals life, allowing for the opportunity to live a life full of passion, purpose, and authenticity. 

In 2009, as a recovered clinician, Brooke Farrington began outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment programs under Farrington Specialty Counseling. The high success rate of these programs is evident by the many fully recovered individuals Farrington Specialty Centers has had the pleasure to journey alongside ever since. 

Brooke identified a growing need for eating disorder care in the greater Fort Wayne community. She partnered with Shellie Cattell to expand Farrington Specialty Centers’ services to include Neossia, our current partial hospitalization program.

Shellie became familiar with the need for eating disorder treatment in Northeast Indiana when she experienced her own daughter’s journey to healing. As a mother, Shellie knows firsthand the devastating effects of eating disorders and the monumental recovery process.
