Why Partner with Farrington Specialty Centers to Provide Specialized Eating Disorder Care?
50% of those suffering from an eating disorder require a higher level of care to recover.
Only 30% of people with an eating disorder receive treatment.
Of those receiving eating disorder treatment, only 35% get specialized care. According to research, specialized care greatly increases recovery rates.
A multidisciplinary team approach is critical in the treatment of these complex disorders. Farrington Specialty Center’s therapists, dietitians, and medical team use evidence-based modalities to establish individualized treatment plans. Our treatment team utilizes an eclectic, experiential, and creative approach to individualized therapy. This includes the use of dance, visual art, and yoga. By using multiple modalities, our therapists are able to meet individuals where they are and reach all aspects of the individuals’ potential for healing.
Farrington Specialty Center’s team is led by Brooke Farrington. Brooke is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and an iaedp™ Approved Supervisor. Our treatment center, with over 100 years of combined experience, takes specialization seriously. We are committed to ongoing education and training for our clinicians.
Programs at Farrington Specialty Centers
Neossia Partial Hospitalization Program
Neossia is greek for “a nest or a place of refuge.” Just like birds entrust the nest to care for their babies while they are away, Neossia is a place of protection and nurturing for all who walk through our doors.
Neossia’s Partial Hospitalization Program operates under the belief that connection is truly healing. Those recovering from an eating disorder have a genuine need to be seen and heard, not for the eating disorder, but for their authentic soul.
Our program is personal. The treatment center staff knows each and every client and family we serve by name. We wrap our arms around those we serve, care for them in their journey, and welcome them into the Neossia nest as family.
