Shellie Cattell, BSBA
Co-founder, Chief Operations/Outreach Officer
Meet Shellie Cattell, Co-Founder of Neossia and Director of Outreach for Farrington Specialty Centers. At 64 years of age, Shellie will tell you that she is finally getting to do her heart’s work. Shellie’s dream of Neossia began through her own family’s struggle to find specialized treatment near Fort Wayne for her daughter who was dangerously sick with an eating disorder. After her daughter’s intensive in-patient treatment, Shellie met Brooke Farrington who was recommended by the center for continued outpatient treatment. Shellie credits Brooke with saving her daughter’s life and the two discovered a common goal that no other parent or eating disorder sufferer should have to struggle to find help for themselves or their loved ones.
Shellie says that family is her greatest blessing. She is married to her best friend and true love, Bruce Cattell. They have 3 daughters, 1 son, and an amazing daughter and son-in-law. To date, they have 6 grandkids (4 boys and 2 precious girls), 3 grand-cats, and 2 grand-dogs. Shellie’s background is in business with an emphasis on sales and marketing. Her professional experience combined with her passion to help the eating disorder community gives her the skill set to meet Neossia’s business and outreach needs.
