Program Director, Counselor and Art Therapist
Adrienne Johnson is a Counselor and Art Therapist who believes passionately in the power of creativity to express what words sometimes cannot reach. Adrienne has always followed a creative path, receiving her B.S. in Apparel Design from Ball State University in 2005. After a career in retail and fashion merchandising, she was introduced to art therapy and knew this was her path as a helper. Adrienne completed her M.A. in Art Therapy with an Emphasis in Counseling in 2021. She completed her internship at Selah House in Anderson, Indiana in 2020-2021. She is a member of the Indiana Art Therapy Association, the American Art Therapy Association, the Indiana Counseling Association, the Association for Size Diversity and Health, and the Eating Disorder Task Force of Indiana. Adrienne has worked with children through adults and uses a client-centered lens to meet clients where they are and help them grow on their recovery journey. Her passion is to help clients achieve freedom from their eating disorders in mind, body, and spirit.
