Katie Koller, RD
Program Dietitian
Katie is excited to be part of the Farrington Team! She is a Cleveland, Ohio native, who graduated from Bowling Green State University with her dietetics degree. She then pursued her dietetic internship at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. Her internship included some experience at an eating disorders program, which she found very eye-opening.
More recently, Katie had worked at the Fort Wayne WIC office, serving lower-income families with compassion while providing client-centered care and access to nourishing foods and community resources. She has learned a lot about others and more about herself by working with individuals and families with varying cultural backgrounds. She also learned about varying relationships individuals can have with their food, including having access to food.
Katie is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, along with various subgroups including the Behavioral Health Practice Group. Katie brings a unique perspective to care at Farrington, coming from a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed background. She is also involved with the local food community, which allows for developing a deeper relationship with food.
Katie is an avid adventure seeker, nature-lover, and traveler.
