Emily Van Nelson, MA

Director of Operations

Emily Van Nelson is the Director of Operations for Farrington Specialty Centers. Her goal is to keep the business side of care running smoothly so the clinical care of clients can be the primary focus of our providers. Emily has a master’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling from Columbia College Chicago. She has worked in eating disorders and mental health treatment for over 14 years in both clinical and non-clinical capacities. Emily has been an integral part of growing treatment programs, so they are more accessible to people who are needing care. Outside of work Emily is kept busy by her two young children, crafting and making things and getting outdoors as much as possible.
